Hovedinnhold

Cryptocurrency has taken the world by storm and stories of its growth in the last decade has raised a lot of attention worldwide. With El Salvador being the first country in the world to incorporate Bitcoin as a national currency, knowing how cryptocurrency works and its political implications is more important than ever in order to understand the modern economic landscape in the world.

In this breakfast forum, we will shed light on what we can expect in the future as crypto keeps cementing its place as an independent currency. What are the potential benefits and drawbacks for the business environments and the fight against economic crime and money laundering? As a decentralised currency, some scientists are hopeful that crypto could increase trust in governments in the Global South. However, due to its volatility, there is also a lot of doubt surrounding this.

Bring your questions about crypto to our panel and join us online or onsite. Breakfast will be served in Jekteviksbakken 31. You can also join us on Zoom.
