Hovedinnhold

Keeping up with the tradision, dCod 1.0 partners gathered for project updates, discussions, and social activities at the annual winter workshop. This year, we traveled from Bergen, Oslo, Trondheim, and the Sintef winter school at Geilo, and met at a mountain hotel in Beitostølen. The main focuses were on how to gather and use all the data produced within the project so far, and how the collaborations and drive originating from dCod 1.0 is best kept also after the project ends.

Following the dCod workshop, many of us stayed on for the annual NSFT winter meeting. Here, we enjoying interesting lectures on current research in toxicology and pharmacology in Norway, surrounded by falling snow and great skiing conditions. With us were students from the course in Environmental Toxicology at UiB (BIO316), as well as Master and PhD students presenting their work on posters and lectures. The dCod project even had an own session, where Eileen Hanna, Fekadu Yadetie, and Marta Eide were invited speakers. To top it all off, Karina Dale was awarded the award for the best presentation in toxicology at the closing celebratory dinner. dCodgratulations, Karina!
