Academic and social environments the two major contributors to students' satisfaction about our bachelor program on cybersecurity.
Bergen has one of the Nordic countries' largest research environments in cryptology and data security. This benefits the students through both teaching and guidance, as well as the opportunity to take a master's degree under world-class researchers.
The second part of the success comes from the students' own commitment.
Linjeforeningen echo - the association for all computer science students at UiB - had over 200 events last year. This included parties, company visits, sports, professional courses and much more.
The students also have their own organization for cybersecurity. Helt Sikker organizes, among other things, workshops and lectures for those who want extra professional training, as well as hacking competitions for students who want to challenge themselves.
