How to Apply

Acceptance to the scientific visitor program depends on mutual interest, ongoing projects, and availability of space and resources. Scientists interested in applying should contact the relevant Group Leader which can be done at any time throughout the year. Information about our research groups is available on our website.

Early planning is required to determine all aspects of the visit which could include potential visa applications. Please check the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI) website for visa regulations that apply to your nationality.

Your applications should include an academic CV as well as a short statement that includes:

·       General research interests

·       Specific interests in visiting the Michael Sars Centre

·       Potential contributions to the academic and scientific life at the Centre
