Gry Sandvik Haaland did her PhD in the Lorens group. Her research focused on characterizing the recep-tor tyrosine kinase Axl, and its role in metastatic development, aiming to increase the knowledge about the receptor, its downstream effects on tumor cells, and to use this information in cancer treatment.
