2020 - Martin Pilskog
Born 1982, M.D. from UiB, was a PhD candidate in the Straume group until January 2020. His research project was on biomarkers and mechanisms of angiogenesis in relation to anti-angiogenesis treatment of metastatic renal cell carcinoma.

Martin Pilskog completed his PhD January 23, 2020. Dissertation title: "Predictive biomarkers for response to treatment with sunitinib in renal cancer patients." Supervisors were Professor Oddbjørn Straume, Professor Christian Beisland and Professor Lars A. Akslen. See press release.
