Presentation of both protocol and results
“Prevalence of parasitic infections and associations with pregnancy complications and outcomes in Northern Tanzania: A registry-based cross-sectional study”
When: Wednesdays at 13:00
Where: CIH, 5th floor meeting room
The seminars are an opportunity for students to present their research project. Master students should present twice during their 2-years study and it is compulsory to attend the seminars (for those of you who are not on leave for eg. fieldwork etc. or are attending other compulsory lectures at CIH). The two presentations, including attendance, are worth 6 credits. Each presentation should last about 15 minutes, followed by a discussion.
First year students are recommended to give their first presentation (of their protocol) during the spring semester and second presentation (of results) during the last semester. Students, supervisors and staff are encouraged to attend the seminars.
For tips on oral presentation, presenters are recommended to read, “How to Write Publish a Scientific Paper”, Robert A. Day, Ed. 5, Chapter 27, pp 167-172.
