UiB AI såkornmidler
UIB AI tar mot søknader om såkornmidler for å fremme nye samarbeid rundt KI-forskning, utdanning og/eller innovasjon. Ideen bak utlysningen er å stimulere til nye samarbeid rundt kunstig intelligens på tvers av UiB og/eller med eksterne partnere.

Applications should describe collaborative activities towards development or use of AI in innovative ways regarding research, education or innovation, or towards increased understanding of societal impacts of AI. Please also discuss possible ethical concerns. The seed money is meant to drive interdisciplinary research forward and foster cross-sectoral collaborations.
A project should include at least two partners that have not cooperated before. Interdisciplinary or cross-sectorial collaboration is required, either between researchers at different faculties or departments at UiB, or between one or more UiB researcher(s) and one or more external partner(s); e.g. from another university or from a non-academic company/organisation.
The budget should be spent by the end of 2026. When the funded activities are over, a short report about activities, outcomes and dissemination should be sent to uibai@uib.no. Extracts from the report can be used in UiB AI communication channels.
