Oversikt over kommende kurs og arrangement:
12th CREAN PhD Symposium, co-organised with the Faculty of Law, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, will take place on 5–6 November 2026 in Osijek, Croatia. Hosted for the first time in this region, the symposium offers a valuable opportunity for scholarly exchange in a vibrant and welcoming academic environment.
This year’s theme, “Exploring Emerging Horizons in Children’s Rights Research Across Disciplines and Contexts”, invites reflection on evolving conceptual, thematic and methodological directions in the field. Contributions may address interdisciplinary and contextualised approaches, emerging understandings of childhood, children’s agency and participation, rights of children in vulnerable contexts, as well as the impact of technological, social and cultural changes on children’s rights. It will bring together PhD researchers and senior scholars from law, social sciences, humanities, and related disciplines to exchange ideas, discuss innovative research, and foster interdisciplinary dialogue.
Doctoral researchers working on children’s rights are warmly invited to submit abstracts by 1 July 2026.

Doctoral Researcher Summer School 2026 Developing Transdisciplinary Practice to tackle complex challenges
Are you ready to expand your research horizons in a stimulating international environment? Do you want to experience teamwork in a transdisciplinary setting? UiB invites up to three PhD candidates to participate in the CHARM-EU Summer School 2026. Apply by 15 February 2026.
Åbo Akademi University is hosting an interdisciplinary Summer School dedicated to doctoral researchers from all fields. You will develop transdisciplinary skills working on real-life challenges together with other doctoral researchers and stakeholders to address complex topics of our time.
- Online preparatory sessions of 2 hours each (three slots, dates TBD)
- June 8-12, 2026: Intensive on-site program in Åbo/Turku Finland

The International Network of Doctoral Studies in Law is organising for the 13th time the International Conference for Doctoral Students and Young Researchers: "Predictability in Uncertainty: Legal Challenges of Navigating the Digital Industries" on 14-15 May 2026 in Vilnius, Lithuania.
PhD students and young researchers have the opportunity to participate in this conference by sending their abstracts by 9th of March, 2026.
