Furnished house for rent from March 1 to November 30, 2026

We are renting out our wonderful and family friendly house for rent, while we we are away on a research sabattical from March 1 to November 30, 2026. We rent out the house furnished.

The house is 170 sq meters. It has a large garden with a small stream running though it, and fabolous views towards the beautiful area of Fana. Directly behind the house is Løvstakken mountain with the trail to the mountain top. Excellent for walking and hiking. Wonderful sauna with outdoor shower in the garden.

The house is situated about 9 minutes driving from the University and the city center. If you bicycle – like we do – it takes approximately 15 minutes to downtown. You can walk to busses or to the metro train (Bybanen). Be aware that the house in on a hill, so you would need to walk or bike upwards when coming from the city or public transportation.

First floor: Entry, hallway, new bath room, laundry room, small guest room, large living room. Kitchen with open solution to the living room.

Second floor: Hallway, bathroom, master bedroom, two bed rooms, office/bedroom, and 20 sq meters living room.

Garage for car.

The property is suited for up to 5-6 people, and has all the usual amenities (e.g. wifi, dishwasher, washer, dryer, fireplace, and so on).
