Hovedinnhold

9th June, 1948, the first weather ship sailed off from Bergen on its way to the station Mike located at 66N 2E. The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) undertook the responsibility in 1948 to operate an international network of weather ship stations in the North Atlantic. The network consisted of 13 stations, Mike is the last operating station.
