Internal Sars Seminar moderating schedule

The seminars will be held on Wednesdays at 1.30 pm in the Sars Seminar Room.

Hovedinnhold

Make sure to review the Seminar guidelines for further information.

2 weeks before the talk:

  • The presenter can get in touch with the scheduled student/postdoc who will be moderating and offering feedback and the group leader who will be offering feedback (or also moderating if there’s no student/postdoc).
  • Talks should be ~25 min, leaving plenty of time for questions/discussion.
  • The moderator might want to get a fun biographical fact or two from the presenter, as the moderator will briefly introduce the presenter before the talk. When moderating question time, try to aim for questions from students and postdocs before group leaders.

1 week before the talk:

  • The presenter sends a title and a scientific image/photo/figure for announcement on the screens to Marion Lebouvier.

15 min before the talk:

  • At 1.15 pm on the day of the talk, the presenter, the moderator, and Marion meet up in the seminar room to set up the presentation, and microphone (if needed).

If you need to change your scheduled seminar date:

  • Please try to find someone in the schedule you can swap timeslots with and then let Tim and the communications team know so we can update the online schedule.
