Recommendation to Work from Home from February 9th
Due to poor air quality in Bergen, all employees who cannot walk, cycle, or use public transport are advised to work from home from February 9th.

The University of Bergen refers to a press release from the City of Bergen dated February 6th.
Because of the poor air quality in Bergen, the city now recommends that all employees who cannot walk, cycle, or use public transport work from home from Monday, February 9th.
UiB is one of the largest employers in the city centre, and we therefore also encourage our employees to follow this recommendation.
It is emphasized that this is a recommendation and not a requirement. All employees who have tasks that must be carried out on campus and need to use a car may do so.
The recommendation will remain in effect until new information is provided by the municipality.
