ISP/Denaturalizing difference
As part of the Research Council of Norway’s grant programme for strategic discipline-building projects, the Department has launched a major effort for reconceptualising social inequality. The project “Denaturalizing difference: Challenging the production of global social inequality” (DENAT) involves anthropologists from the University of Bergen, the University of Oslo and the Chr. Michelsen Institute. For the project period 2013-2016, an ambitious programme of workshops, conferences, publications and lecture series is planned.
A DENAT project website will soon be in operation. Meanwhile, the project document can be downloaded following a link to the right of this text.
