Hovedinnhold

The next meeting of the ICT PhD Forum will be held jointly between PhD students and Postdocs on Tuesday, 1 November, at 12:30. All PhD students and Postdocs at the Department of Informatics are welcome (and encouraged) to join!

Before lunch, Stefanie Meyer will give a brief talk about Meltzer funding, an upcoming opportunity with deadline in January.

After lunch, we have invited psychologist Andreas Schei to give a talk titled "Learning, stress and mental health". Together, we will have a conversation about the challenges of learning in a PhD setting, stress reaction and how we can take care of ourselves. This is a low key open talk where we will talk about general mechanisms and explore questions that might arise.

The meeting will be held in the Large Auditorium (2nd floor, Datablokken). In addition to the discussions, there will be time set aside for mingling.

More information about the forum meeting, including the registration link, has been sent to all PhD candidates and Postdocs in a separate email.

In 2022, the forum organizers are Erlend Raa Vågset and Knut Anders Stokke (for the PhD candidates) and Mikhail Barash (for the Postdocs).
