PhD student Annabel Ohldieck presented her research at the European Society of Cardiology congress in Barcelona August 2022. She demonstrated that blood pressure in the forties is more important for risk of hypertension later in life in women than in men.

PhD student Annabel Ohldieck presented her research at the European Society of Cardiology congress in Barcelona August 2022. She demonstrated that blood pressure in the forties is more important for risk of hypertension later in life in women than in men. Weight-gain in the forties was an equally important risk factor in both sexes. Her research is based on the Hordaland Health Study.
