Committees and councils

Pursuant to its educational activities, the University of Bergen has established several permanent committees and councils.

The Division of Academic Affairs functions as the secretariate for the Education Committee, the Learning Environment Committee, the Council for First Semester Studies, and the Council for Students with Disabilities.

  • Education Committee

    The University’s Education Committee is appointed by the University Board to develop the University in Bergen as an educational institution.

  • Learning Environment Committee

    The University of Bergen’s Learning Environment Committee (LMU) is appointed pursuant to the Act relating to Universities and University Colleges section 4-3 no 3.
