General objectives

• To strengthen the group members' research, develop collaborative research projects and create a forum for academic exchange for the group’s members.

• To produce and disseminate knowledge on development politics and local processes of change, including effective and culturally appropriate health and development initiatives.

• To strengthen the Faculty of Psychology's capacity in research methods which are applicable in diverse cultural settings, in particular methods sensitive to indigenous and local knowledge.

• To develop joint research projects with partners, for mutual capacity building, in Eastern Europe and in the Global South, and work towards the inclusion of students in on-going research projects.
