The museum collections are the basis for the research for
most of the scientists in the group. Some of the collections
have been and are still being built up over nearly a century
through interdisciplinary cooperation, within the fields
of osteology/paleozoology and palynology there is a long
tradition of interdisciplinary cooperation, in particular
with archaeology and geology.
