Bruker D8 ADVANCE ECO X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) scanner

The D8 ADVANCE ECO is a 1 kW copper X-Ray tube diffractometer suitable for mineral detection and quantification. The instrument has a sample-changer which holds nine samples. In front of the X-Ray tube, there is a divergence slit that for controlling the X-ray beam size, which, together with an anti-scatter screen, enables measurements at low angles (clay minerals). For the moment, we only perform mineral identification.
