Small bright bedroom in a shared apartment with UiB Associate Professor

I am renting out a bright, small, furnished bedroom in my two-bedroom apartment in central Bergen, just a five-minute walk from the University of Bergen. The apartment is located on the fourth floor, and please note that there is no elevator. This rental is ideal for short-term stays.

The room has a 120-centimeter-wide bed that is very comfortable, slightly on the softer side. Bed linen and towels are provided. The room also has a desk and storage for clothes etc.

The bathroom, kitchen and living room are shared. The kitchen is fully equipped, with dishwasher, but no microwave. Wi-Fi is available. There is also a washing machine and a balcony, but please note that both are accessed through my bedroom and will not always be available for your use. There is a cozy living room that you are welcome to use. There is no television in the apartment.

There is absolutely no smoking inside the apartment, and also not on the balcony.

You will be sharing the apartment with me and my small dog. My dog is almost never home alone, as she is usually with me during the day.

The apartment is centrally located with very good access to shops and public transport. It is within close walking distance of two grocery stores, Kiwi and Rema 1000, and also near the Bergen Storsenter shopping mall. The main train and bus stations are also within short walking distance. The light-rail Bybanen has a stop close by and will take you to and from the airport. Remember that almost all stores are closed on Sundays in Norway.

There are beautiful green areas and parks nearby, ideal for walking or running.

Please note that no meat, fish or eggs can be cooked in the apartment, although eating pre-prepared animal products is ok, as is storing them in the fridge.

I reserve the right to decline bookings if the room is not available at the requested time.

The price is 890 NOK per night, with everything included. Payment via bank transfer.

1/3 of the total cost is to be paid when you reserve the room, this is non-refundable in case of cancellation. The remaining balance should be paid no later than 1 day before arrival.
