MSc Rebekka Frøystad has successfully defended her PhD thesis at the University of Bergen.

Rebekka Frøystad has defended her PhD at the University of Bergen with a thesis on how the melting of the Folgefonna glacier affects both landscapes and society. The work highlights key challenges related to climate change and its consequences.

Her thesis,

Projecting Folgefonna's future: Implications of glacier melt for physical and political landscapes”, explores how the melting of the Folgefonna glacier impacts both physical landscapes and the surrounding societal and political frameworks. The work addresses key questions related to climate change and its consequences for nature and society.
