Welcome to part three of our introductory courses for new international employees at UiB.

We are excited to have you on board and want to ensure you have the best start possible in Norway and at UiB!
Our orientation course helps you get off to a great start at UiB and in Norway. You'll get useful information about UiB, living in Norway, HR services, taxes, healthcare, and more. It's also a great chance to meet other new colleagues who are settling in just like you!
This is step 3 of our introduction seminars for new employees who have recently started at UiB. Complete step 2 (short e-learning course) before attending.
Agenda:
- Welcome to UiB
- Your employment (absence, holiday, safety delegates, trade unions etc.)
- National services (national insurance, pension, taxes, health services etc.)
- Practical information (travelling, mobility and language courses)
- Norwegian culture
We'll also provide a light lunch, so you can relax and get to know your fellow participants.
