Submission, assessment and public defence

All candidates that complete the doctoral programme are awarded a PhD degree. This degree requires an approved training component (30 ECTS), an approved trial lecture, and a public defence of the doctoral thesis.

It is also possible to submit a thesis for the dr.philos.-degree, which is without academic supervision and admission to an organized research training. The candidates who apply for the dr.philos.-degree are required to conduct two trial lectures and a public defence of the thesis.
