New construction in the Arboretum

The Rhododendron Collection in the Arboretum is now being extended. The groundwork for the collection of heritage plants has now been completed.

You are welcome to try the new flight of steps in the Rhododendron Collection in the Arboretum. It connects the road through a new field of heritage rhododendron plants with the collection of cultivars in Nydalen.

There is a great view from the top of the new flight of steps made from natural stone. To the north, the leaves of the larch trees have now turned golden before they shed their needles. Along the road, maple trees with their leaves in a bright red autumn hue can be seen.
