Forskningsgrupper
The anthropological research tradition that has been consolidated in the course of the second half of the 20th century has generated a large body of knowledge about cultural diversity and developed analytical perspectives that enable anthropologists to reveal how social life in particular communities is affected by various systems of regional and global interdependencies. The department contributes to the development of this comparative research discipline, both through the documentation of the empirical diversity in human life worlds and social processes, and through theoretical and methodological innovation.
