Do you have any semi-finished articles laying round or in your desk draw? A first draft of an article that you never got round to polishing and sending in?

Do you have your eye on the summer to get it sorted?

The Research Group for Law and Culture in the Pre-Modern North offers a 12-week guided article writing drive beginning in week 18.

The aim is to revise, polish and submit an article at the end of the 12-week process.

You do not need to work on medieval material or be a member of the research group to participate, everyone is welcome regardless of discipline.

This will be a guided session as mentioned, with different revision tasks assigned weekly. To do this, we will be using the writing workbook by Wendy Belcher, Writing Your Journal Article in 12 Weeks (2nd edition). You will need a copy of the book.

We will have short, digital, weekly discussion meetings (as we draw towards summer, the meetings will be every two weeks).

We will determine when the meetings will be in accordance with the schedules of participants.

Please register on the righthand side to note your interest and receive more information.
