23th of October the Ph.D. candidate Lars Tuastad will give his Trial Lecture at the Grieg Academy, Department of Music, University of Bergen. The day after he'll defend his dissertation about rock's role in correctional services.

The PhD-study is rooted in Tuastad’s experiences in the project “Music in Custody and Liberty” and in his own action research project with a band named Me and THE BAND`its (the band consisting of three ex-inmates and Tuastad).
For the Trial Lecture Tuastad has been given the title

The trial lecture will be in Norwegian, and it's open for everyone interested.
