Objectives and content

The Master's programme in Physics is offered in both pure and applied physics. The programme is aimed at students with interest in physics and related fields, who intend to qualify for research, development or teaching and who seek employment where education in physics is required or considered an advantage. Within the Master's Programme in Physics you can choose among the following specialisations: 

  • Acoustics
  • Measurement science
  • Medical physics and technology
  • Microelectronics
  • Nuclear physics
  • Optics and atomic physics
  • Particle physics
  • Space physics
  • Theoretical physics

How to Apply

Admission Requirements

Who may apply?

You need a bachelor degree in Physics with a duration of three or four years from an approved institution of higher education. The average grade of the bachelor's degree has to be at least 2nd class, upper division/B.

Non-native English speakers must document their English language proficiency in order to be considered for admission.
