The centre's employees possess skills that cover all areas of communication e.g.: information, journalism, television and video production, web, photo, design and how to deal with the media.

The main court trial of Anders Behring Breivik after the 2011 terrorist attacks in Norway began on 16 April 2012. The University of Bergen has experts who can comment on the trial and the attacks in international media.
