The Financial Services

is part of the University of Bergen's central administration. The department has approximately 80 employees and is responsible for the university's policy in the area of financial management. In addition, we attend to a number of operational functions related to budgeting, procurements, payroll administration and accounting. The department's duties also include quality assurance and development within its areas of responsibility.

One of our main duties is the administration and development of administrative information systems relating to the department's functions.

The department also provides financial services for external partners in the university's peripheral zone.

Offices for the financial affairs are located in Christies gt. 18.
