The Fisheries Ecology and Aquaculture research group is involved in a wide range of projects. Researchers within the group have experience from projects at a variety of scales, and involving research institution, government and industrial partners. SETTLE Project
The SETTLE project will focus on conditioning and settlement as key events during the hatchery production of native European species, the flat oyster (Ostrea edulis) and the great scallop (Pecten maximus). The project aims to foster year-round production of spat in hatcheries.

Calcification by Marine Organisms (CalMarO)
CALMARO is an Initial Training Network (ITN) - Marie Curie Actions, supported by funding under the People Specific Programme of the Seventh Framework Programme of the European Community. The Project is an initiative of the Marine European Network for Training of Researchers (MENTOR).
