MIC facilitates a widerange of research. Some projects are mainly carried out through MICs equipment whereas other researchers just come by to have a publication picture taken or have sample preparation done at the EM laboratory. On pages to the right you will find examples of research and research projects using MICs different modalities.

  • Research, nanometer level

    Here you will find examples of research carried out on the basis of our EM-preparation laboratory and our transmission- and scanning electron microscopes

  • Resarch, micrometer level

    Here you will find examples of research carried out on the basis of our wide field fluorescence-, confocal-, 2-photon-, live cell confocal-, and high throughput microscopes.

  • Research, millimeter level

    Here you will find examples of research carried out on the basis of our small animal 7-Tesla Magnetic Resonance Scanner as well as the associated Small Aminal Optical Imaging and Flowcytometry units.
