Tuva Semmingsen

Tuva Semmingsen trained as a classical singer at the Norwegian State Academy of Music, and at the Royal Danish Opera Academy. She is a highly acclaimed singer, and has appeared in numerous European opera houses and concert halls the last 20 years. Recently she has taken a Master’s Degree in elite vocal pedagogy, and from August she is associate professor in singing at Griegakademiet, UiB. Tuva has no previous experience in research, but is lead by her extreme curiosity concerning the human voice in the meeting between student and teacher.
