New projects started at MediaFutures and upcoming Annual Meeting

New PhD and Postdoc started at work package “Understanding Media Experiences”
PhD candidate Marianne Borchgrevink-Brækhus will study news use and attitudes towards paywalls among young adults who do not currently pay for news. Postdoc John Magnus Ragnhildson Dahl will study teenagers’ media experiences and media needs, collaborating with the public broadcaster NRK to map out how NRK could respond to teenagers’ needs.
First annual meeting
The first MediaFutures Annual Meeting will take place on 29-30 September. The annual meeting showcases research and innovation highlights of the MediaFutures Centre. The first day is an open conference, where there will be presentations, talks and a poster session. The second day is a closed day dedicated to industry.
Brita Ytre-Arne and Hallvard Moe will give a presentation on Understanding Media Experiences. Marianne Borchgrevink-Brækhus, John Magnus Ragnhildson Dahl, Ana Milojevic and Erik Knudsen will present their work at the Poster session.
