Getting to Bergen

Bergen Airport (Flesland) is located 18 km from the city center. There are direct flights to Bergen from several destinations in Europe. The most common airlines flying are SAS, KLM, Norwegian Airlines, Widerøe, Lufthansa and British Airways.

From airport

The airport coaches depart every 15 minutes to the city center. It takes about 30 minutes from the airport to the city center. A one way ticket is NOK 90, - and a return ticket NOK 160, - (the return ticket is valid for one month). For more information please click here. Taxi fare from the airport to the city center is approximately NOK 500, -. Airport bus and taxis can be paid in the vehicle with VISA-card.

From the city center to the conference venue - and vice versa

There are local busses from the city center to the venue, and the ride is 10 minutes (buss nr 2 and 3). Maps and time tables are found at skyss.no. You can use ticket machines to buy tickets (for more information click here).

The other option is Bergen Card. With Bergen Card you travel free on Light Rail and busses in the city and in the region. You get free or discounted admittance to most museums and attractions as well as many cultural events, various sightseeing tours, restaurants and parking. For more information please click here.
