The research at the Centre is focused on development of novel tools for parasite control in the aquaculture sector to achieve sea lice pest management. Implicit is to shorten the time from basic research to new products.

Professor Frank Nilsen of our group has played a major role in establishing the Sea Lice Research Centre (SLRC), where he is the director. The centre is a separate entity hosted by the University of Bergen, and aims towards becoming world leading on research on salmon louse and similar parasites.Â
