The physics of air and ocean

Storms, ocean currents, raindrops, avalanches, heat waves and CO2 exchange, it all boils down to physics. At the Geophysical Institute we explore the driving forces of nature.

We contribute to the Centre for Climate Dynamics and the Bjerknes Centre for Climate Research and we host the Norwegian Research School in Climate Dynamics.
