Department of Health Promotion and Development
The Department of Health Promotion and Development, former Research Center for Health Promotion, was established in 1988 by the University of Bergen with support from the Norwegian Health Association and is organized under the Faculty of Psychology. The Department carries out research and offers teaching programmes with relevance for health promotion. The Department is cross-disciplinary and collaborates closely with researchers in other faculties and it is a leading international academic institution in the field of health promotion research.
