Bachelor and Master projects at BioMatLab
Projects related to particles from implants
Biomaterials cooperates with the NanoUiB-program regarding master- and bachelor students.
Bachelor student Ingrid Elise Konow Weydahl studied wear particles in tissue surrounding orthopedic joint prosteheses. She used a high-resolution optical microscope and electron microscopy with element analysis.
Master student Tom Mordal is involved in a collaboration project between the Nanoscience program at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and Biomaterials. The project is about Interactions between cells and TiO2 nanoparticles released from implants.
