2011: preparations and planning
The proposal for a second phase of NBRP (2012-2015) was submitted to the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in May 2011. The rest of the year will be used for preparations.

We hope to convene the first research group in Bergen in February 2012. Increased visibility in the Nile Basin and a stronger academic focus on the challenges facing the Nile Basin are among the positive changes that we seek for the next phase.
