Guest lecture: "My Home Is (In) Trouble"; Irigaray, Antigone and The Future of Feminist Politics.

"Most feminist readings of Antigone fail to explore her relationship with her sister,  and the role played by ordinary citizens, in preparing for a new politics beyond that of "bloody wars" between cities. This paper will chart meaningful oscillations between doubt and certainty which lead to the actions of  ordinary people, and the possibility for feminist politics which do not require the death of woman,  instead provoking new strategies and ways of living between those who have shared a womb or a city."
