Data Management Plan WORKSHOP

The Norwegian Research Council and Horizon 2020 require projects to submit a data management plan (DMP). A data management plan describes how data in a research project will be collected, processed and made available.

DMP Workshop

In this workshop you will work on your own DMP using a digital DMPtool, e.g DMPOnline, and then share your DMP with other participants and get feedback on your own DMP. Experts from the University Library will also be there to guide you. 

Pre-work: We strongly encourage you to start filling out a DMP as best as you can prior to this workshop (15-20 minutes). You can do this by using DMPOnline or whatever digital DMP tool you prefer.

10:00-10:40 Introduction to DMP (presentation) + Q&A
10:40-10:45 Break
10:45-11:30 Individual work on own DMP 
11:30-12:00 Lunch break
12:00-13:00 Peer review (Share and give feedback on eachother's DMP in small groups)
13:00-13:10 Break
13:10-13:40 Individual work on own DMP
13:40-14:00 Open discussion and summary
