Managing and sharing research data

The University Library offer support and guidance on data management during the research process.

Main content

The University Library offers guidance and support in managing research data throughout the entire research process. We assist researchers with developing data management plans, establishing good routines for storing, documenting, and sharing data, as well as providing advice on long-term preservation and making research data available.

The library also provides resources through DataverseNO, UiB’s institutional research data archive.

The University Library organizes open, digital courses on topics related to open science and research data (the Open Science Seminar Series), and coordinates the Research Data Network in Bergen – a meeting place for researchers and staff working with data management, archiving, and the reuse of research data.
