The University Library can assist researchers and students in making their research publications and student works open access.

The University Library provides guidance on goals and policies for open access. We support researchers with open publishing through UiB’s publishing agreements and UiB’s publication fund, where UiB researchers can apply for funding to cover the cost of open access publishing. The University Library coordinates registration and reporting of research activities and results and makes research publications open access through the Norwegian Research Information Repository (NVA). If you have questions about NVA, contact us at nva@uib.no.
