Hovedinnhold

This year we are celebrating 25 years that the Botanical Garden has been at Milde. The new botanic garden was opened at its current site close to the Arboretum because with increasing collections and activities the Museum Garden in central Bergen became too small.

The garden has developed over the years, and most recently in 2018, Lønningen lystgård and Archimedes' labyrinth were opened in the southern part of the garden.

The Botanical Garden has become known to many as an active garden, which arranges courses, lectures, theme days and garden parties for the enjoyment of a large audience.

There are still large areas to be developed for new garden rooms and exciting exhibitions.

The anniversary will be marked with a garden party on Sunday the 26th of September.
