Poverty, media and language in Latin America
Hegemonic views conveyed by mainstream and the agenda setting media tend to naturalize poverty within the 'common sense'. At the same time, causal interpretations or explanations of poverty production and reproduction gets overlooked. Join us in this in this ProLAMe seminar where researchers will present and discuss their findings related to this hypothesis.
