Opening of Erasmus Mundus Master Programme in System Dynamics
Thursday August 26 the new Erasmus Mundus Master Programme in System Dynamics was officially opened by Rector Sebastian C.J.J. Kortmann from Radboud University and Rector Sigmund Grønmo for the University of Bergen.
The first 24 students in the new programme were present at the three day seminar that marked the opening of the Erasmus Mundus Master program. These students will spend their first semester in Bergen learning the basics of the System Dynamics method. Their second semester will be spent learning about applications of the method at the Universities of Palermo or Lund. In the third semester they will learn more about group model building and policy implementation at Radboud University. The forth semester is reserved for thesis writing at one of the participating universities, possibly in collaboration with one of the programme partners.
The three day seminar gave the students a head start with lectures given by many of the best teachers and researchers in System Dynamics from around the world.
