The Norwegian currency is Norwegian Kroner (NOK), and is usually the only valid currency for cash payment. Most stores also accept VISA/MasterCard. Currency exchange is available at the airport upon arrival, and there are plenty of ATMs available for cash withdrawal in Bergen.

Bergen Airport “Flesland” is located 15 km south of Bergen city center. The airport is easily accessible by airport bus, the Bergen Light Rail (bybanen), or by taxi.
