Robin Guillaume-Castel was one of the first researchers to arrive at UiB as part of the LEAD AI programme. One year in, his project shows promising results on explaining how neural networks work to predict extreme weather events like heavy rainfall.

This week, the new LEAD AI researchers met each other for the first time.
On 15 November, the University of Bergen will kickstart LEAD AI, a program for training future leaders in artificial intelligence. The event is meant to be a first get-to-know-each-other meeting for representatives from the participating UiB entities and partners.
